SEO a good way to get traffic

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is almost essential in drawing traffic to your site. One of the easiest ways to get a large amount of traffic is to rank high in the search engines. The best way to rank high in the search engines, at least from my experience, is to get links to your site on sites with high page ranks.

You can figure out which sites have high page ranks by using the google toolbar or by using SEO software such as SEO Elite. After you find the sites with high page ranks you just need to get them to put a link to your site on their site. Usually this can be done by a simple link exchange and through an email to the other sites owner.

Once you get these links you will start to climb to the top of the rankings and you'll be well on your way to tons of traffic.
