It's often handy to have a US postal address for items purchased in the US. Many companies will not ship overseas, while others may charge high rates. By MyUS.com website they will provide you with your very own united states postal address, so that you have a secure repository for your goods and that you can control the process of them going through customs.
* No standing in queues!
* No need for expensive petrol to do your shopping.
* “Tight budgets and bad weather keep people at home where they can shop online for bargains,” reported James Roper, chief executive at IMRG (www.imrg.org).
* Selection is unbeatable.
* Compare prices without leaving your home or office.
* 24/7 availability.
* Get a USA address to bypass potential international shipping hurdles.
Choose an international mail forwarding service. There are many mail forwarding providers out there and the right one for you will depend on what your needs are. Some offer low start-up and fixed costs, but will charge a higher rate per parcel, whereas others are oriented towards high-volume shipping. Be sure to shop around.
If you want to sign up for the service, MyUs.com can make available a trial membership, but you'll need to pay for any goods to be shipped, or their related shipping fees.

Another great option for setting up a US address in the states is a company called Bongo International at http://www.BongoUS.com
Better rates and customer service from my experience. They don't have all the hidden fees that myus.com has.

I personally use http://www.oneUSAaddress.com . They can repack your boxes to reduce the dimensional weight of your boxes.
